Facilities

At Balachladaich, we try to provide a range of facilities to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. For your convenience, a washing machine is available. Our drying room is perfect for storing and drying wet clothes and gear, making it an excellent facility for anyone enjoying outdoor activities in the Loch Ness area. An iron and ironing board are also available.

 

In the living area, you will find a smart speaker, a TV and a selection of games and books for leisurely evenings in.

 

In your bedroom, you will find a silent fridge in the wardrobe, a smart TV and a hairdryer.


The kitchen includes a coffee machine, an air fryer, a hob and a microwave, making it easy to whip up a variety of dishes. With all essential utensils at your disposal, you'll find everything you need to prepare a cosy breakfast to start your day or a simple dinner after a day of exploring. Then simply pop everything in the dishwasher and put your feet up to enjoy the view.

Step outside to our private beach area, where you can enjoy the stunning views of Loch Ness. Equipped with BBQ facilities and picnic tables, the beach area provides a beautiful setting for relaxation and fun.

As you relax on your balcony or patio, you might spot the resident alpacas grazing in the adjacent fields, or even coming down to the beach for a paddle. Feel free to take a leisurely stroll along to the edge of the fields or the fence on the beach to observe them, but please remember to respect their space and don't try to touch them. We are also the perfect base for day trips to all parts of the Highlands - you can be in Durness on the North Coast in under 3 hours, or Applecross in the North West in just over 2. If the sands of the east coast tickle your fancy, you can be there in 90 minutes, and the Isle of Skye can be a perfect daytrip, with the Skye Bridge around 2 hours from our door.
